Why don’t they build a real stadium? The Grove is as small as the stadium is….. join the big league and build a new stadium

Building a new stadium right now in the midst of all the changes in CFB might not be the best idea unless you are getting it in a lot of donations and sales that can go to that project instead on all the players. I'm prob wrong but I think CFB has a lot of question marks right now. Things might change and affect the fans filling up stadiums at HIGHER prices.

Sweet. That’s where I ended up grabbing seats.

Because it would cost almost a billion dollars and would be completely asinine. I’m sure they’ll eventually look into reconfiguring Vaught to add more premium seating or suites, but that stadium is perfect for that town of 27k people.

I think the band actually might be in S1. That section has no tix for sale and is even blacked out on several ticket sites.

Northwestern just built a pretty nice stadium, even while being completely irrelevant. I'm assuming you wouldn't even know where this college is at (not due to intelligence, they're just irrelevant lol).

Ryan Field is confusing to me because the new stadium came at a $850m price tag and dropped seating by 25%. That’s about the going rate for a new pro arena. It looks nice and probably great for the community.

Penn State is spending $700m to renovate its entire outer shell. Really wish LSU had done this in one cohesive project instead of the stadium having four completely different looking sides.

Yeah it is wild decreasing your seating capacity. I live in Illinois and there isn't a very big demand for Northwestern games- they must know they can't fill the stadium anyway. From what I've heard, the big draw is you're supposed to be as close to the field as most of the other seats, no matter where you sit. Interesting concept, but damn that's a lot of cheddar for a team that is never competitive.

Actually, at over 60,000 it’s one of the larger stadiums in SEC.

It is one of the larger ones if you eliminate half of the 11 stadiums that are ahead of VHS in capacity.
