That link is from the Princeton Review, the same review publication that listed LSU the number 1 Party School in the nation in 2000! LINK
Since 2000, LSU has won 10 National Titles in various sports, maybe we have been concentrating more on winning, than partying the past 8 years...

I'm not sure if anyone has discussed this already but why would we be in the top 10? The party scene in Baton Rouge has tapered off big time in the last 5 years. With increased admissions standards, kids trying to keep TOPS, and LSU actually becoming a pretty decent public university, the drinking here has gone down a bit. Hell, most the people at the bars near LSU don't even go to LSU.

I went there three times while at LSU, and it sucked my balls. The Grove is a joke. It's just a crowded parade grounds with trees. People don't share anything, and when you offer white beans, sausage, or drinks they turn up their preppy noses.
Dude, getting your balls sucked is usually a good thing.
Wow! Gratz to Ohio U for making the list! That is one killer Halloween party, I sh!t you not. Still surprised to see them on the list, because these typically degrade to a popularity contest.

OU is frequently on the list, and deservedly so. Halloween is a blast and Athens is one of the greatest campuses/towns I've ever been to (out of about 50). In my anecdotal rating system, it scores higher than LSU and UF.

When Hatch transferred from Harvard, LSU went from a top 10 party school to a top 10 academic school.

The only thing Oxford has to offer is frat parties. If you don't want to pay for your friends you're SOL.
I was in Oxford in '05. We got there about 1030 Friday night. We went looking for a party and didnt find a thing. Finally found all the frat houses and they started kicking everyone out by 0100. And we got in trouble for having bottled beer.......ooops!! Guess we get a little spoiled tailgating at LSU!! He told me to throw 2 of them away or hurry and drank them. I had to shotgun both of them. I dont remember seeing anyone in the Grove till I guess about 1100-1200 when it started filling up. There were still more LSU fans tailgating than Ole Miss. A bunch of OM fans partied with us b/c they said it was about time someone that knew how to party was there!!

Maybe we are not on the list because the local university clubs are hole in the walls. Come on we all know Fred's is a real classy joint.

I suppose you're not mature enough to realize this is not quality designation for an institution of higher education.
