Yes. I agree with everything.
There really is no need to debate.
Everything came down to coordination, and we had NONE. From the beginning, in the middle, until the end.
Our season was pretty much a microcosm of our games. Losing down the stretch and ill prepared at the most inopportune times.
Our line will be less experienced, and our leaders on and off the field will not be changed. Great expectations? Do you believe in miracles?
I'm just reading between the lines. I could be way off base.
But, think back to what everyone was saying at the end of 2008. Everyone was accusing Miles of getting too involved in the offense.
This year did not look like that at all to me. To me, it really looked like Crowton was calling the shots. And, it didn't look like he was on the same page as the coaching staff.

they said it on TV during the Tenn. game
So, you think Ingram took 30% of the snaps for Bama?

i didn't watch the whole game and they may have been talking about the 2nd half, but they definetly said that 30% of the plays were from the wildcat.
10% would be great for LSU to run and that might even be too high for us if our offense is good. Either way, its still a good change if the offense is struggling

I meant over the course of the season.
In any given game, it could go up based on circumstance.

The national champions ran it for over 30% of their offense plays in a game
apparently i was wrong about the game anyway, can't find anything to support it
LINK
interesting article on the wildcat and how easy it is to install

LSU moves Russell Shepard to wide receiver
Wow. I didn't think it was possible to hate this coaching staff more than I already did.
What a fricking waste. Sorry Russell.

Does this mean we can stop asking when Shep will throw a pass?
Posted on 2/24/10 at 10:58 pm to JustSmokin
if u actually ever thought shep would be a qb at lsu then u are a complete idiot

I am gonna reserve judgement until I see how many touches he gets from the WR position but this looks like a colossal waste of talent.

If you weren't a fricking noob you would know we had daily threads during the season wondering when Shep would throw his first pass.

he should have gone to a school with a better coaching staff

So, you think he should be playing QB?

Nah. His future was never QB.

i agree that his NFL future is not at QB, but do you honestly think that we will use him effectively?

I can only hope. If he not on the field almost every play and getting 10+ touches, then it'll be fair to say he is underutilized.

Yes. I think he could've been better than Pat White. The ball would be in his hands on every snap. Zone reads, options, etc. would be hard to stop with him at QB. I also think he can't be any worse passing the ball.

I see Terrel Pryor winning at Ohio State and he throws the worst fricking ball I have ever seen.
Sucks that Russell won't get that chance.
