LSU matches up well with Iowa. I would even say LSU should be favored.

The LSU defense has been playing in another stratosphere. Mulkey will have a great gameplan on Clark. She’ll get hers but it won’t be close to 40 points.

Their bigs aren’t bigger than ours and ours are way more talented and athletic.

Iowa used a lot of gas for tonight. They won’t be as fresh as the Lady Tigers nor will they be as hungry.

LSU 75
Iowa 67

LSU shouldn’t be favored; they can win, though

CC22 is just to good. That’s a fact. Great job Tigers to make it to the championship though.

If Poole can’t hang Alexis showed tonight she can lock her down.

LSU will get 75% of the rebounds.

LSU will win.

Idk about favored but they at least have a chance. Fun matchup of different styles instead of having to face those giants from Carolina.

Better match up than with South Carolina.

They would have surely waxed LSU again.

LSU used a lot of gas too. Remember we had to come back and play a near perfect quarter to win.

And the hunger thing makes no sense

He don’t know. He just caught up in the moment. Talking bout Clark won’t get close to 40. LSU has 2 options for Clark. 1 is short & the other is slow. We may win, but it won’t be cause they “locked” Clark down

Lsu defense has never faced anyone like CC.

It's going to take a combo of players to "limit" her.

Bottom line.

Lsu has to make easy shots in the paint and lay ups to be competitive this game.

They are favored by 1.5 points so basically it’s a pick em

No one player is locking down Clark...but if a team can double her early and force the offense to go through her teammates, thats the trick. SC got exposed, they don't have any offense outside of their inside presence. Its about matches. Iowa matches up better with SC. SC matches up better with LSU. LSU matches up better with Iowa. If LSU 3 pt shooters can regain their early season form, Iowa is gonna have a rough outing. SC had nobody that could shoot from the outside. LSU is a different animal. IOWA could never drop everybody in the paint all game against LSU, as they did with SC.

We have a decent mid-range game. But I don’t think Iowa can stop us near the rim either. We’re going to get a lot of offensive rebounds.

Yeah, Three days of rest will never be enough for 20 year olds to recuperate from a 40 minute basketball game.

And what is the logic that one team is hungrier than the other? Silliness.

Those two things plus turnovers will be the deciding factors, I think. Tournament Poole has been great, if she shows up again, LSU has a legit shot at the title.
