Lets divert the attention away from the arse whooping we handed ya'll last night and live through South Carolina. I think if ya'll had to play South Carolina again, ya'll would get your asses handed to you.
LSU is a giant fluke. You copy everything from Clemson. Good luck with your faux Death Valley and retarded sounding Tiger Rag. Maybe Bobby Boucher will lead ya'll to a Bourbon Bowl victory next year.

Cool, thanks for the kind wishes. I hope your team continues its winning ways, meaning, I supose, being second or third best in the ACC and getting embarrassed in BCS bowls when you do happen to make them.
I'm glad in some small way the school I cheer for could be instrumental in giving your program the biggest win they will likely ever notch, especially as it meant literally nothing to me. Charity truly is good for the soul.

We've won a National Title and 18 Conference Championships. Don't act like we are an inferior program. What the frick was LSU during the 90's, if you want to bring up the past?
Maybe you're a fricking bandwagon fan, like the majority of your fan base who jumped on the ship starting in 2000 if that game didn't mean shite to you?

Why in the world would I care about who won the national championship in 1981? I was 2. I don't care that LSU won it in 1958 either because why would I? In the past 10 years your team has been pretty mediocre. Sorry that angers you so much.

Clemson played great, but settle down, nancy...you guys won by 1 point on a last-second field goal.
I know this feels like the Super Bowl to you guys, but it is still just the Chick-fil-A bowl. It would have been nice to win the bowl game, but in the end it really isn't that important of a game.
LSU lost in the Capital One bowl a few years back to Penn State.. but it really meant nothing because LSU then went on to the National Championship last year after an undefeated regular season.
I guess what I am getting at is... nice win, but maybe Clemson should accomplish a little bit more before acting like Super Bowl champions.

Man, LSU doesn't blow anyone out. We barely beat AUBURN this year. AUBURN! And our Defense completely shut yours down. Met was our little bitch. And per SEC logic, any game with an SEC team playing in it is the Super Bowl. Everyone in ya'll's conference rides each others dicks, and gives the ACC shite all year.

Well of course they cared. Quite a lot of people in this thread have disagreed with the thread starter. They just aren't a very good team, and they lost to a slightly better not-very-good team. So we're just two not-very-good teams playing in a meaningless bowl while the very good teams play for things that matter later in the week.
It's cool that you're happy with that moderate level of success though, it means you might not constantly be disappointed as a Clemson fan.

And I'm not saying it wasn't a hard-fought game on both sides... the players may have played like it's the Super Bowl. But I'm saying in the context of each team's football programs, it's still just the Chick-fil-A bowl. Not an important game in the scheme of things. As far as the BCS is concerned, the season was already over. The BCS rankings are final after the last week of the season.
Manhandled? No. Boyd was getting smashed all game. It was physical on both sides.

But emotionally I'm sure they weren't into it on the same level as the Clemson players.
Clemson was looking forward to playing a team like LSU, and had a chip on their shoulder because nobody was giving them a chance.
LSU was disappointed with not getting to another national championship after the hard-fought loss to Alabama. They then get glanced over by some better bowls and get the Chick-fil-A bowl. Everybody thinks they win.
They really had nowhere near the same motivation that Clemson did. I know they played hard because they like to play... but they didn't play with the same emotion that they played with against Alabama.

Usually I might talk crap back if it was a fan of a successful team like Alabama... but it is funny when a Clemson fan calls LSU soft and says how much better Clemson is at football.

They won 10 games this year after losing 14 starters.
