LSU coach Ed Orgeron said on the SEC Media Teleconference on Wednesday (Oct. 10) that linebacker Jacob Phillips should be full speed for Saturday.

Phillips missed two practices last week and dressed for warmups against Florida. Orgeron said he tried to play but wasn't able to. Now, the linebacker Orgeron has called one of the best players on the team will return. He's been full-go at practice this week.

That’s good news.

We will need him.

He and white can’t play every down, but we can at least stagger them being out and keep 1 on the field at all times.

I saw Jontre in high school and he just has that it factor with the ball in his hand . I’m talking about Pooka electricity. I’m guessing they’re going to use him on sweeps and maybe some wildcat .

Glad he didn't turn out like Clifton Garrett

WTF is up with Giles? He goes down too easy after a catch and is not a threat. He at least catches the punts and doesn't fumble...Very overrated player so far.

I don't know officially, but heard it was a shoulder injury he suffered late in the Ole Miss game.

Having Phillips back in the lineup is great news. It really hurt the defense to not have him available last week.

Wait...defense and Aranda wasn’t to blame after all because of injuries?
