Imo, lsu's struggles are as much philosophical as anything.
Talent deficiencies along the interior, average qb play, and lack of attention to detail/organization on offense are also issues.
2009 problems were too varied to "fix" during season.

Could be because LSU has a higher number of seniors. Alabama has a very small number of seniors on the 2009 team. Just a thought.

you do realize of course that this in and of itself really doesn't mean anything. Having more players at the combine or drafted in a particular year just means we lost more players this year, not necessarily that the overall talent level is better or equal.
