I don't think it'll be as bad as you think barring injury. DBs will be pretty good. LBs will be good. DL is where it all starts though and that will be our weakest unit. I think the talent is there on the first string but zero experience past that

Agreed. There is going to be more experience at DB and LB than there was a year ago, even though the team is losing its best player on each unit. I could see the LB corp being similar to the transition from the 2010 to 2011 secondary.

Yeah that unit lost PP, but you brought back all those freshmen who had played a ton and the unit was actually better. I could see that happening with Minter going, but you've got 5-6 guys with experience whereas last year there were only 2 guys who had ever played snaps at all on the LB unit.

The DLine only having 3 players who have ever even been in the rotation is where all of my fears are.

I think we'll be fine on D next year....some real character/chemistry issues in 2012. Next year the D will be hungry like in 2011.
