Exactly right. Winning the conference means nothing if the second place team in a division gets to not only play for the national championship but gets a rematch with the team in the same division that beat them in their own stadium.

No they aren't. LSU doesn't beat Bama, they don't get to go to Atlanta and then maybe New Orleans. You think the media would be pimping LSU for a rematch?
