With the exception of tight end, we're at least competitive at the positions where you could say we have holes.

This is the second time I’ve seen someone saying we’ll be weak or depleted at TE. Does that mean Bech is listed as a WR? For some reason I always thought he was listed, like officially on the roster and depth chart, as a TE. I feel like an idiot now bc I swear Ive been counting him for a TE spot all this time. Damn

I agree w/ everyone now, that we are slim at the TE position... But I also think that one TE we picked up, Mason Taylor, despite his baffling 3* rating, I think that he will end up proving those recruiting services and “evaluators” wrong. In my opinion, I think that he’s going to be stud. And will end up being an integral part of the offense. I mean his dad is a Hall of Famer, and his uncle is 7 time pro bowler, Zach Thomas… so I’m
sure the kid probably has a really good understanding of the game and a high football IQ naturally ((runs in the family))… He’s also pretty fast and “quick” too for 6’4” 230… Has hands of gold and ((I hate to say “literally”)) but literally catches damn near everything thrown in his vicinity…he will be another one of those hybrid TE/slot dudes, like Bech, who is a mismatch nightmare for defenses…. Just think him, Bech, Boutte, and Lacy? ((whatever that dudes name is from ULL)) other teams would be thrilled if they had just those 4 dudes in their WR room… but we also have Malik Nabers, Brian Thomas Jr., and Jenkins. All of whom have shown that they have the potential to be elite star WR’s. And that Landon Ibieta kid, we probably shouldn’t sleep on him either… So we might lack at TE; but we end up making up for that with a deep WR room full of talent.
Seriously though, actually looking at LSU’s potential offense next season, and all the talent we have at the skill positions, how can someone not be excited? I know
I am….

Dunno how we'll finish in terms of wins/losses. BUT, I know, God Willing, my wife and I will be in the SuperDome on Sunday, September 4 to see our Tigers take on the Semen Holes of F$U.

Sure, we’ll win more than 10 for sure. In Baseball and Basketball.
