40 years ago, there were far fewer bowls and making one was actually an accomplishment. Not any more, not even close.

Dude, as previously alluded to, records don’t matter. A bowl in Shreveport or New Orleans would take LSU no matter the record due to the fact it will bring in significantly more money than anyone else.

What a stupid assertion. Only the Rant would bring politics into this discussion. It’s an abbreviated season, with limited number of games. Without suspending the 6 win threshold, there won’t be enough teams for the bowls. Plus it “gives back” a game to the players who lost a full season.
Apply some logic. I know that difficult for many on the Rant since they’re lobotimized conservbots.
