your stupid posts claiming we're going to lose every game we've played so far?

Every game? Where did I say lose every game? Go find the posts. I’ll wait.

CMM has a lot to prove before fans are just willing to get their hopes up and buy into the team and beating up on a bunch of cupcakes aint gonna do it

Spot on. We beat a SWAC team yesterday (although trailed at the half) and the McMen expect the rest of us to just clap like trained seals. Giving up 90 points to a SWAC team is a canary in a coal mine if I’ve ever seen one. But if people want to bury their heads in the sand, that’s their prerogative.

If LSU football trailed Sam Houston State heading into halftime, this place would be kicking and screaming. Why should basketball be different?

My evaluation of this team has declined considerably in just the last two games. Now I envision a scenario similar to McMahon's first year where the team started off 12--1 (with an upset of Arkansas)! and afterwards couldn't beat their way out of a paper bag.

I still predict 6-12 in conference play, and an NIT bid. Nevertheless, McMahon must geaux

There’s a lot that this team could do better, but if they keep making free throws they’ll stay in games.

With what I saw last night, this team will be lucky to have 4 conference wins

The only way LSU could get into NCAA postseason tournament is by automatic bid by winning SEC tournament. That won’t happen. Should they even accept an NIT invite?

The difference b/w that team and this team is that in CMM's first season, even with the good record, some of us were saying that was a bad basketball team. The advanced analytics for that team had them at the bottom of the SEC, and over the long run, that proved correct. Right now, this team ranks out in the middle of the SEC, much better than past teams, but not having Reed for SEC play could be a major factor. Also, several teams currently ranked below LSU should be performing better than they have so far this season.

They'll lose 15 conference games. A lifetime contract worth 1 billion for will wade is the only way
