This guy mentions Urban Meyer as a potential for LSU. i wonder if Florida might try that. I think Stoops, Saban, and Meyer all know better than to come back in the NIL /Transfer era. Its not coach friendly like it used to be.

Now? Now it’s strictly about money. And just going by money available, I don’t know. Bunch of programs have more money to spend on players. Vanderbilt might be richer.

This is so subjective. Its not like the NFL where there are clear cut better programs than others. College Football jobs is in large part due to the Candidate. Someone like Cignetti would be less interested in the LSU job then the Penn State job. Not because its a better job but due to the location. Marcus Freeman would be more interested in the jobs in the midwest than LSU. He chose Notre Dame over LSU previously in 2021. Not because ND is the better job but its the better job for him.
Now hopefully the requirements in the search is someone who has that "want and desire" to be here. Now I am not saying we get him because I actually feel less confident now then before. But what Lane Kiffin said about not making a decision based upon $ was 100% something you want to hear. I am just looking forward to seeing who we get but with this political shite happening in the background it makes me nervous that this is about to set us back.
