What would he know about baseball?
I had the pleasure of hearing Skip give a short talk last week at a luncheon. He knows so much about baseball it's almost creepy. I could sit and listen to him for hours just talk about the game.
He said there is consideration being given for him to do in-game analysis next season for some select games.
The rough concept is he would be located in the indoor batting facility just outside of Alex Box. There would be a bank of TV monitors there and fans could pay a small admission charge to sit in the audience. He would analyze the situations in the game in progress giving insight as to what is happening.
I think that might be enlightening and entertaining to attend at least once.

If you spend any time with Skip Bertman you'll quickly learn the man could have been great at almost anything.
He is extremely intelligent, and could have certainly made a great doctor, engineer, lawyer, and yes a great governor.
Luckily for LSU the man chose to be a baseball coach, and as both of us know; the rest is history.
