To those saying we'd lose to them now. What did you say before we played aTm?

We still beat AU in Tiger Stadium, this week, next week, whatever.

They deserve where they are b/c you gotta hit a Hail Mary every now and then. Fact is we beat them. Stop hating your own team. I know it's all some of you have and you should be grateful for TD because no one else will listen to your shite.

They play every game hard and focused - we don't and we have better players

Just like OM did, they have heart, our team is off and on,

Don't know why but it is obvious you never know who will show up

Would you stil hold that opinion, if Aburn were to beat Bama by 10. We lost to OM cause it was their super bowl. they wanted it more than we did. LSU is better than beat up OM team but the final score did not indicate it. You got to be ready to play and win even if you aren't impressed by the opponent. Tigers have had a history of playing down to the level of the opposition. Just cause you match up physically better than your opponent does not guarantee a win.

I have seen Alabama, Auburn and LSU in person this year. Auburn was the most impressive. They looked, faster, stronger, bigger and most importantly more focused than the others. These guys are on a mission from God for respect after last year. Just my two cents.

We choked against a really bad Ole Miss team (remember all the injuries they had that game).

We deserve to be where we're at.

auburn would still lose to us. their d wouldn't be able to stop us and our d is better right this minute than when we played auburn.

it would be close but in death valley we take them. The other factor is auburn is high ranked so we wouldn't have a ole miss game where we didn't show up.

A 16 team playoff would be amazing, but 4 teams is a start I guess.

Hell, I'd be satisfied with 8 teams

Lsu always plays down to competition !!! If we play BTR Hi we play like shite! Since Les has been there we don't have the killer instinct!O maybe one day we might win another Bowl Game. It's bad when we couldn't beat an injured O'Piss team.

That has happened at times, and sure, we were flat against Ole Miss, and the O-line did give up early. The biggest difference on offense was all of the interceptions that Mett threw. I'm not necessarily knocking him for continuing to be aggressive, but 3 int's in the first half is hard to overcome, gave them the advantage, fired them up, and limited our options.

On defense, we were still struggling then. It's hard to start freshmen, but when we finally went with them for aTm, the defense finally hit it's stride. Not to mention that Welter had his best game last weekend. It may be a fluke, but he may be starting to show what Chavis seems to see in him. Auburn has improved, but I believe we're more improved now than they are. I also believe we'd make a much better showing against Lil Nicky and the gumps if we play them this weekend than we did that first outing.

Im not one of these. We crushed Auburn. We are a better team than them. They had multiple, MULTIPLE, games they squeaked out ALL AT HOME. We lost by 3 on the road to an UGA team who was relatively healthy, and played awful and got upset, by 3, on the road to Ole Miss. There is no excuse for it, however if the game was at home then they cant build as much momentum and hype. Auburn to their credit won their would-be upset games, and will end with a marginally more successful season than us. We are the better team though and proved it on the field.

I hope they win saturday, however, if they get crushed like I expect them to, I wouldnt trade our 9-3 (potentially 10-3) season ending on a win streak and high notes with momentum over their 10-2 season with season ending getting crushed by rival.

People can say what they want, but bowl games and late season play brings a confidence that carries over to the next season. 2010 cotton bowl->2011 season.

Yeah I'm really pissed that Northern Illinois won't get their shot.

Who wants a non relevant regular season like every other sport?

Not this guy.

We should have hung 55 on them. You play'em when you play'em. We'd beat'em again.

We lost to Georgia and Ole Miss. They have only lost to us. They deserve to be ranked higher. I agree that we are better than them. But they have been in position to win those close games and made the best of their opportunities. We played down to our competition at Ole Miss and the defense was lacking against Georgia. Auburn has had a better season.

We have only ourselves to blame...

Why do you say that? Is it false?
