Some fans made similar comments about Les Miles and Ed Orgeron when others criticized aspects of their coaching and the production that resulted.....Right until both were fired.

Just as fans have a right to praise a team for their positive aspects, fans have the same right to criticize the negative aspects. It doesn't mean they're not fans, just that they see flaws and have a concern.

You gave excuses about each loss and sounded as if it's not an issue. Eason tweeting "We'll get this fixed" shows that OBVIOUSLY the team understands there are issues that need to be addressed. I guess he's not a real fan either.

When this team was undefeated, even when they had 1 loss, some fans commented about the lack of offensive production. As conference play really got underway, their offensive production has been an issue. I'm so tired of hearing about the fouls, I'm not even going to address it. I will say this, if you think this teams only issue is the disparity in fouls, you're not truly being honest about what you're seeing from this team. Only through honesty within themselves with this team improve. Discipline would be a great start.....Oh, and if Wade stop being stubborn and let his best player start instead of coming off the bench.

I'm sorry, but there is no way to sugarcoat how badly LSU is playing, offensively. Pinson doesn't come in and solve our inability to make a shot. Does he help direct things a little better? Yes. But much of what is going on isn't going to just disappear when he returns. And Days has been so bad for much of conference play, that it's like he's been out the whole time, anyway.

This is miserable to watch. I keep putting myself through it, because I love LSU, but it hurts to watch how bad this team is, offensively. They keep getting worse, instead of better.

Yeah, when I saw there was a reply on my post I figured it was going to be someone telling me to quit watching what I don't understand. Because honest assessments, if they happen to not be positive, are often treated as either a lack of knowledge, or a lack of passion, as a fan. Both of which are completely false assumptions.

I've been very positive about this team for most of the year, because of their defense, and I just believed that the offense was bound to figure enough things out, in order to compete for an SEC championship and beyond. But, as we stand, 7 games into conference play, this offense is actually regressing. And, as I stated earlier, Pinson is not the guy who's going to come in and just fix everything. He's a good player, but he wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire with his shot, either. He makes us better, but he, alone, is not enough if others guys don't start figuring it out.

As tough as they are on the defensive end, they are, in equal measure, soft on the other end. Because it's not just that they miss open shots; they don't fight enough for position, they struggle to maintain control with the slightest contact, and just generally look like they don't practice offensive basketball. Which makes no sense.

Look, there a lot of dick's that attack first then...well, they just attack. If your point is valid to you, make it! frick those guys.
There are waaaay more folks on here who don't post at all that - if they felt the need to contribute - would point out who knows what they're talking about and who doesn't. Like you, yourself! You see it now and then. Folks who've been members for 8 or 5 years that only have a couple hundy or maybe a thousand or so posts.
