We can certainly agree that there's a lot of potential there.

he was also gonna bring in a top 10 recruiting class and hire the best offensive coordinator in the country.
O's recruiting class overall was far better than the top 10 recruiting classes Les Miles brought in that never met our team's needs. As O's recruiting clas actually met our needs. Not to mention, that the crop of recruits in Louisiana was the worst it has been in many, many years.
In any event, O got 8 of the top 10 recruits in Louisiana last year and poached other states for the rest.
In addition, we had the number one rated wide receiver class, the number three rated defensive line class, the number six rated linebacker class, and the number nine rated offensive line class.
Thus, anyone complaining about O's recruiting class last year simply doesn't know anything about recruiting and about football.
And maybe you don't realize it, but SE is the number one offensive coordinator in O and Dave Aranda's minds. Maybe you don't agree with their choice of offensive coordinator, but nonetheless, you have already proven that you don't know anything about recruiting and about football.
Indeed, the only thing you know how to do is gripe and complain like an old worn out hag.

Maybe in O's mind which is the problem, but I have a hard time believing that Aranda thinks that.
I know he said that Ensminger is one of the best playcallers on record. But, that doesn't make him a good coordinator and it's not like Aranda is gonna say that he sucks.

LSU’s offensive strategy is starting to sound like an iPhone. Every time you look up something is getting installed or updated and it’s X% complete.
That's how O's going to try to get another extension, "hey Joe, we're only 15% installed right now."

I’m excited about the spread. Don’t think I’d say I’m confident it’ll be successful, but I’m cautiously optimistic.

It was Dave Aranda who told O that SE is a far better play caller than Canada. Indeed, he is the one who lobbied O to make his good friend SE the offensive coordinator. Which wasn't very hard to do because O was already very good friends with SE.
Not to mention, that it was Dave Aranda who hated Canada more than everyone else on the staff.
So believe what you want to believe. I couldn't care less what you believe.

Well, just like I said in the other post, being a good play caller isn't the same as being a good coordinator.

If he's so good why'd he get fired in the 90s and was unable to get another OC job until now?

I THINK people greatly exaggerate quotes around here.

Actually, you have it arse backward. Coaches can't be good offensive coordinators if they are not very good play callers, and by all accounts, SE is a very good play caller.

Why would I waste my time on a moron like you? I'm not retarded. I couldn't care less what you think or believe. As far as I'm concerned, you are a complete and utter ignoramus.

No, I really didn't say backwards at all. What you said is correct however. A good coordinator cannot be good unless they are a good play caller.
But, just because someone is a good play caller doesn't mean that they can design an offense, build it from scratch, then implement and teach it.

That sounds about as stupid as something that idiot Rickdaddy would say about O.
He never tried to get another OC job because he didn't want one. Why? Because he didn't like getting fired all the time. It wasn't conducive to his family's life. As many OCs and DCs get fired for all kinds of different reasons not pertaining to the job they are doing. It's a very volatile position.
Not to mention, that SE also turned down Les Miles when he offered him the job and I don't blame him. Hell, he was very hesitant at first to take this new job for O. He isn't anymore though, now he is very excited.
