Meaning, the longer this drags out the less likely it is that we make a big splash. Chavis left for a reason and it wasn't money. It looks like a toxic environment from the outside looking in. Elite level DC's don't want to put up with whatever ran Chavis off.

No way the SEC office let's Kirby leave Bama I say this because the SEC will do everything they can to keep BAMA the top team. Also no way Saban let's Kirby leave.

As an Alabama Alumnus and fan, I can't really say we would be upset or not if you guys "stole" Kirby. Now if it were 2012 I would say "hell yea", but Kirby has really slid from Alabama D standards the past two years. Looks at some of these 2014 stats:
-Alabama ranked 111th nationally out of 128 teams giving up 133 pass plays of 10 or more yards.
-Alabama ranked 85th nationally out of 128 teams giving up 43 pass plays of 20 or more yards.
-Alabama ranked 74th nationally out of 128 teams giving up 19 pass plays of 30 or more yards.
-Alabama ranked 74th nationally out of 128 teams giving up 10 pass plays of 40 or more yards.
-Alabama ranked 125th nationally out of 128 teams in giving up 33 first downs on PASS PLAYS of 3rd down and 8 or longer.
Congrats if you "steal" him, but if you find any Alabama fans upset, they really don't follow their team closely.
