If we go 2-0 this week and don’t make the top 5 next week it will be laughable

From what I can tell, this is the highest we've been ranked since the 2008-2009 season with Marcus Thornton (that team got as high as #12 before blowing back to back games to end the season)

Seems like not enough of a bump.

The pollsters totally ignored UK’s loss against LSU and heavyly weighted their win over Tennessee.

No it won’t.

There is basically no argument to be ahead of Duke, Gonzaga, Virginia, Houston, or Michigan.

Assuming no crazy upsets, 9th is about the highest you could expect.

We are criminally underrated at this point.

LSU should be a top ten team.

We have a better record than Kansas and a better NET ranking. And have a top 5 win on the road at Rupp this past week.

And we're ranked below them.

It doesn't matter what the AP thinks, but its pretty annoying that their name alone keeps them ahead of us.

what I expected. Should be a 3 seed in a lot of brackets that come out this week too.

2-0 this week and we'll be a 3 borderline 2 seed in any reliable bracket come next week!

Also, how did our NET drop from 14 to 16 yesterday?

Georgia that bad? I thought road victories should help no matter what? Maybe our past opponents had a bad Saturday despite UK beating #1?

I know defensive efficiency is in there and it wasn’t good against UGA. I think we allowed something like 1.22 points per possession

Good point.

Just feel like a road victory should outweigh that, plus our signature win beat #1.

LSU would PLOW Michigan

If they played 10 times LSU wins 8 of them
