Thinking of buying two lower level tickets tonight for the basketball game for me and my dad, but my 6 year old is begging to come.

Do you guys think they will give me shite if I get him a cheap ticket and he sits on my lap?

You won't even be able to get in without a 3rd ticket. I think children have to be 2 or less.

I mean, kinda inconsiderate for those sitting around you. A 1 or 2 year old in your lap? Sure.. a 6 year old? Nahh they'll need their own seat.

A 6 year old is pretty big to put on your lap for 2.5 hours. The seat space is pretty small so you'd probably piss off the blue hair you're sitting next to.

Can my approaching 4 foot tall kid sit on my lap during the game?

I think it'll be just fine tonight(not so much for Kentucky). I never buy lower tickets and always make my way down there during the games. Buy 3 cheap tickets.

Just leave the 6 year old in the car. He’ll be fine.

Depends on who's sitting next to you. Aren't you worried about becoming uncomfortable with a 6 year old sitting on your lap for 2 hours?

The idea was to buy two tickets down low and a third ticket for the kid from the cheapest available and share one of the seats down low with the kid. Kid is too big. I'd call the overzealous event staff over and give him the ol

and they'd love to do it

Not concerned with comfort. Concerned with previously aforementioned "overzealous event staff" that could make due.

I'm more concerned with how close they check tickets for the lower levels to gain entry.

If we have an empty seat around us, we should be good.

The row in question is all the way at the top of the section, so no bother for anyone behind us. Hell I'd stand the whole damn game if that is what it takes.

These are the best tickets available right now, period and its only two, I need three.

Can anyone here read? That's the plan to get the kid in.

Your best bet is to just hope no one shows up next to you and have him sit in his own seat. No one is going to check your ticket to make sure you can sit there. A weekday game close to Christmas against a bad team means it will be a smaller crowd than usual. Chances are you'll be alright.

Good plan, can always snipe that spot if the tickets are still unsold at game time and the seats are empty.

I have no problem paying for tickets, I just don't see any available with three in a row in the lower level.

So I'm guessing they don't check for tickets at some point?

Just buy some 300 level tickets. They are cheap as hell and they are still really decent seats.

Just all get in, they’ll be plenty of room in the bldg for you three to sit together. Enjoy the game.

Then what are we talking about? He’s buying tickets the day of the game and expects everything to work out perfectly. Newsflash that doesn’t work out when the team is good. Buy the 3rd ticket then and move on. Idk how this is a topic
