Blake Dean will be pitched very, very carefully. Thus, the rest of the lineup has to hit Texas pitching. I don't think we have the pitching to win it solely on pitching. Coleman is good and consistent. Rinaudo can be... has to control his emotions. Bullpen is weak outside of OTT.

But, FORGET the games of the past week. Arkansas was out of pitching this past Friday. Against UVA, if we don't make some acrobatic defensive plays that game could have gone for UVA.

This is going to be a TOUGH series. Regardless, LSU baseball has come a long way in just a couple of years.

Don't forget that LSU has to limit Texas hitting as well.

Did you get this from the book of obvious baseball cliches?

Don't chase pitches and they'll have to come at us.

You and the OP should coach. Y'all would be unstoppable.

Yeah, stout, you are obviously an extremely intelligent individual. I guess you don't care for Yogi either, right?

My point, my dear friend is that Texas has, imo, the best pitching we have faced in CWS. They take pride in their pitching.

You just enjoy pointing out the obvious.

Yeah, all the other teams in the CWS were like, "frick pitching"

This thread should be labled: Only a fool is compelled to state the obvious.

Coleman and Ranaudo are chumps?

Did not say Coleman and Rinaudo are bad. I think Rinaudo can.. and I stress, can.. be erratic. This is obviously a huge stage. He's emotional. Will have to control it.

Texas knows how to come from behind and LSU knows how to crush the long ball....sounds to me like a bottom of the ninth tie last pitch for the championship. Which is nothing new to this kind of ball.......

Ok, just asking now.. no attitude... has LSU come through the weaker side of the bracket?

Listen guys, I want the Tigers to win. I want them to sweep. But you have to admit that there two games against Arkansas didn't really test them. UVA, yes... they were challenged a little. Texas, on the other hand, had a tough one against USm and Zona state

I'm of the opinion that you can beat us like a drum with no hits at all.

It could be that Texas played tougher teams, or it could be that LSU is better and just dominated their opponents
