If anything I think this is a compliment to Miles and Stud. This isn't a position that LA has put out a lot a talent recently so we haven't recruited it real well. Our coaches have built a solid line every year. I think its one of the strengths of the team.

You fail to mention that this years line has Faulk who would have been a first round pick, Hurst who will probably play in the NFL and Collins who has a chance to be a very special player. We have one bad game against 2 top DE's and all of a sudden our O-line stinks? Its a 3 headed problem 1.) WR have to get open faster 2.) Mett has to get the ball out faster 3.) O-line needs to gel after a few injuries. We will be just fine.

Could have something to do with the small shitty lineman crowton made a priority

C'mon man.

Crowton f'd up our QB situation and general offensive philosophy...but the OL clusterfrick is all Stud and Miles.

Anyway, I trust the coaches and stuff.

Our first round LT goes down for the year, our backup isn't as good...that's your definition of a clusterfrick?

USC's first round C went down, and they lost that week. We've been winning. Pretty sure we have the longest regular season winning streak in the nation with one of the best rushing attacks in the nation...even though we can't pass consistently. Seriously..."clusterfrick?"

I'm referencing the fact that there is no OL playing in the NFL that played under Les with the exception of the unexceptional Barksdale...who is with the Raiders?

Andrew Whitworth with the Bengals.
Nate Livings with the Cowboys.
Stephen Peterman with the Lions.
Joseph Barksdale with the Rams.

can you provide a breakdown of offensive linemen by college in the NFL so that we'll have some context...because every time I hear the O-Linemen introduce themselves on the tube, they're all from South Dakota Tech, Morehead State, Northern Illinois, etc.

One more time...not referencing the current at hand situation regarding Josh D, etc.

That's a separate issue...and a cluster in the making thats just not here yet. Soon though.

This would be interesting to know. I would guess Wisconsin and Michigan would be high on the list.

That's a clusterfrick to you?

My definition is different than yours.

is it also indicative of Miles winning with OL that aren't great. NFL is a lot about the individual players capability too. How else do you explain all the players that come from subpar programs? Duke is known for NBA flops, do they get knocked for developing players for the league? Along with FL skill players, PSU RBs, Neb OL, Tedford's lineage of prodigy QBs, (rodgers was the first successful one)
