But Miss St, Stanford, and Miami do - LINK - so dumb.

We beat Miami and Auburn early and we are in the hunt

Being underrated is absolutely the greatest thing for a football team. Especially when the team has the talent to do amazing things.

If we beat all 15 teams we’ll have a 100% chance.

Well miss state is 100-1, Miami is 50-1. That's the real projection. Lsu won't do well in any computer generated projections based upon 10 returning starters and the schedule.

Miss State is going to field one of their best teams ever.
Miami is overrated IMO

It’s kinda silly to say LSU has a zero chance. I don’t think it’s very high, but stranger things have happened.

ETA: Didn’t read. Backed out the link when I saw it was ESPN.

We disagree on state, I think they overrated too, but it's cool.

I don't have an issue with this like I do with the preseason rankings. In this case, it makes perfect sense to factor in a team's schedule.

What's the difference? 0%, 1%, 5%, 7%, 10%, it all means you're not a contender.

Have you done much research on them? Their defense is going to be pretty nasty. And on offense they have a few weapons, plus Fitz is a very mature and talented QB.
New Coach is a concern, but when we’re talking about State, it’s not like they have many great teams to compare to. That’s why I said ONE of their best teams.
I think they’re a 10 win team. They won’t be a push over for us. Especially coming off the UGA game.

Like 1 out of 100?
“I’d say more like one out of a million”

Sooo....you’re telling me there’s a chance?

Better than or equal to the Dak team that got up to what, #2 or 3? I don't think so. They will be a good team but one missing piece, Mullen and that team had serious offensive play makers.

Absolutely. I don't understand why people are getting upset. When you look at lsu's schedule, and see that lsu returns zero production on offense, AND has an almost entirely new offensive coaching staff, I think it is fair to question. The thing that many aren't factoring in is the outstanding defense, and let's face it, it isn't like we are replacing a jaugernaut offense.

That's not saying much.

Fitz is a 50% passet. Teams will play him differently. They have a couple really good defensive players but I don't think they are close to lsu overall defensively. I say 7-5, 8-4 at best. Lsu will have that game circled.

They were #1 for a few weeks. In the final poll they had 3 loses. All to rank teams. Their 10 wins were to teams who ended unranked.

I said ONE of their best teams. They’ve only had like 3 really good teams. This one will be one.

State was #1 for 5 weeks that year. They took #1 after they beat Auburn and kept it until they lost to Alabama in mid November, then lost the egg bowl, then lost in the Orange Bowl. Second, he said one of their best teams. That doesn’t mean better than Dak’s team

I look at LSU’s schedule and I see 2 teams that have more talent than LSU.

Miami does not. Auburn does not. They are probably right to there, along with state and UF and aTm, but they are not as talented. Don’t beleive me go see for yourself. LSU has 5* that can’t even get on the field. It has 4* seniors being bumped off the field by 5* true freshmen.

They have 4 starters who were 3* or lower, C, K, TE, WR (if Jefferson starts). That’s it.

So yeah, if y’all want to keep telling yourselves this schedule is scary that’s fine. But I’d be more scared if these teams people are freaking out over we’re actually more talented.
