I'm in nashville and on the radio up here they are talkin about lsu falling from the elite. They are syain we shouldn't have a two game losing streak to bama and florida, much less ole miss and arkansas.they had an lsu insider that said if lsu loses at home to ark that it is possible for les to be fired. I want les gone but i do think he has earned the right to correct the ship

A case could be made that that was this year though, could it not?

Especially when we are getting worse instead of better.

Less is a good man. However with the last two years of SEC win and loss record the end is already here. It is just a matter of time. I hope he wins tonight and gets it fixed next year but I just don't see this happening. I believe he has talent but has not developed, utilized and or coached up the talent.

He gets one more year IMHO. I would love to see him go to Colorado next year.

If you knew nothing about Les Miles before Ole Miss loss and you saw his post game interview, you would know this guy has no chance in hell of righting a ship. He has managed the talent he walked into to get a ring, but the writing is on the wall. We lose today, I don't think he gets another season. 15 mill might be a discount in the long run.

Only a fool would walk away from the money he is going to get when fired.

Haven't you heard? LSU has no future after losing to Ole Miss. Zero. Nada. Zilch. The LSU football program will honor it's deal with Arkansas, and play the game today. Then after that shut down the program. The coaches will be fired. All the players with eligibility remaining will be allowed to go to other schools. All the equipment will be given to charity. Tiger Stadium will be demolished to be replaced by women's field hockey complex and the indoor practice facility given to the soccer team. The outdoor facility will be given to the vet school for cattle grazing.
It's all over. The glory that was LSU football died in the red clay hills of North Mississippi. There is nothing left but doom, doom, and more doom.

Win or Lose today or in the bowl game, LM still gets another year. I don't think the same can be said for Crowton. I think Crowton has to win the last two - impressively - to get another year. I'm not really sure who replaces him but a change is not only needed but warranted! I am a true homer but a realistic one. Losses don't hurt recruiting as much as bad coaching. Another coaching year like this one and we won't even sniff a nationally ranked signing class.

Yes, he did earn the right to be given a chance to right the ship. He got that chance this year and he failed. No third chances.
