re: LSU football slightly better in '09

My 1st post too, but had to get in on this. It was Fl. that lost their best receiver and us having the best receivers in the SEC. Fl. receivers will be on lock down in TS, so Tebow will be forced to run and HC or CJ will frick him up. He will want to go back to passing where PP is waiting in the wings. Gators do have a good D, but we have so much fire power on O that they will be guessing. I was at the last 2 gator games in TS and will not miss this one. F*** Tebow, F*** UM, and all gator and Bama fans. Can't wait to hear Tebows speech after this game.

I don't really have to tell you what I think is going to happen, I can just wait to watch LSU whip Florida's arse in October. LSU by at least a touchdown. Sorry, I don't intend to flame, that's just how it's going to happen.

LSU will be exponentially better...what that translates to in wins, I'm not sure but I would be willing to bet they will not get swept by Bama, Ole Piss, and Florida.

They will not beat the gators, the tide, or the rebels this year.
We have your Gators in Tiger Stadium, and we have played Bama tougher in Tuscaloosa than Baton Rouge for 30 years. Are you conceding that we beat UGA in Athens? Because if we do, I think we will be at 10 wins this regular season, and perhaps a rematch with the Gators in the SEC-CG.
I am not conceding any game, but UGA and Florida are our biggest tests. We will beat Bama and Ole Miss (Nutt has no players, and Ole Miss will not surprise anybody this year).
And the biggest game in Tiger Stadium this year will (again) be hosting your Gators and Tebow's final visit to the toughest stadium in America, in which to be an opposing team. I assure you that Urban, TT and company will get a maximum effort from the LSU football team.

The hysterical Florida fan is just doing his impersonation of Rantard behavior after each LSU loss. Judging from the large % of blind homer and cheerleader mentality displayed on here, I can easily see that scenario playing out when LSU loses.

Yeah seriously. Who would want to actually want to support the school they're a fan of. You're such a better person than everyone else.
No, I lie. Eat a dick, douchebag.

We are starting to see the type of athletes and football players that Saban brought in there for LSU that Les doesnt have anymore, or atleast have as much of anymore.

kellis089=never set foot on Florida's campus (or any other college campus for that matter)

This is where the kid really showed his ignorance. We may not win 10 games this year but it won't have anything to do with a lack of talented athletes. This team is as talented as any we've had. It just has a lot of unproven commodities.

pride goeth before a fall. Just know that anything can happen. I personally think Florida is the team to beat, but I think that your assesment of LSU is lacking some facts.
You speak about vast improvement in the SEC West, I agree, but you seem to leave out LSU as being vastly improved.
We are going to be better and more experienced than last year at most every position and you give us one game over last season??
Inconsistency at quarterback is a maybe, but I doubt it. You are injecting your opinion/hope here. With a solid performance at the end of the year (don't forget a storied high school career) and Chris Mitchell, Terrance Tolliver, Brandon Lafell, and Ricky Dixon to catch the ball, I seriously doubt we struggle so much on offense.
Don't forget the Russell Shepherd X-factor.
And don't forget about Rueben Randle.
I don't think that our quarterback will throw 16 interceptions this year, almost forty percent of which were pick sixes for 42 points. He threw 4 interceptions against bama alone which would have been a game winner for us without it. He threw three in the Georgia game and one in the Arkansas game. I see two wins we could have had easily with 2009's JJ at the helm.
I have checked our depth chart again

and I do not see any deficits at O-line
Would you say that with our stellar recruiting class that we are the most improved, then? Remember when you say improved, you really mean that based on the facts, we have lots of potential. Really, there is no way to judge improvement in the off season, only can you infer potential. So, I would have to say in your economy, LSU would have to be the most improved team in the West. Did I mention that the entire recruiting class will be available to play?
This link for the above quote must be your butt. Look at the facts and the recruiting classes, man. Don't just ignore the facts.
Your post is loosely based on incorrect facts and I liken it to swiss cheese (too many holes)with a whiff of Limburger.
Florida will be good, but I am not sure they are going to repeat as the national champions. Especially after they lose to LSU
Maybe even twice!!

If you really believed that, you wouldn't post here. It may be what you hope for. No gator fan would care about a middle of the pack team or their chat room. The Tigers concern you, which is obivous. So you have that game circled too, just like all the pundits. They don't give the trophy till the end of the year. You guys are the new USC. They didn't live up to it!
