I can tell ya one thing for sure....if that had been my wife/business being beaten/attacked with a 2x4....all of those brothers would have been laid out on the sidewalk full of holes.
I would have been an equal opportunity executioner. Would have blasted the fat white dude too for just standing their watching it happen.
So now the question is, if it were your wife having a knee on her throat until she succumbs to death, would you have blasted all the other cops for just standing there and watching it happen also? Curious minds want to know.

Regardless of the racism aspect the police have too much power. Go to another country for a week or two and then come back to this one and you'll notice that we have way more cops issuing way more citations for way more things than they need to. It's all the way for the wealthy to pay less taxes and put the burden on everyone else. Something that continues to be supported by our money-grubbing society. The same reason why we've given so much power to China. People can't stop trying to make a dollar at the expense of everything we have ever believed in.
Our president just used a quote that comes from a segregationist in Miami in 1968. The constant dog whistling for white supremacists and for over reactionary anti-racism people is getting out of hand. It's time to figure out and nail down the source of all this traveling and it's the socioeconomic disparity.
You can't be an anti-government person and also support the amount of police and military presence that we've had. It's out of control and the brutality is out of hand. We've been putting people in jail for years, for minor drug offenses and destroyed family units in the poorest neighborhoods. It's time we all look take a hard look at America and see what we need to fix because it goes a lot further than racism

think BLM is infested with retards and that most of the rioting is mainly radical leftist communist shitbags taking advantage of a hurting black community. But anyone who watched that sadistic video, and still has a problem with LSU FB giving a little acknowledgment, should get over it
That's an interesting take considering that there are provocateurs involved who are trying to make the protesters look worse by starting these fires. There's a lot of bad going on but just try to act like it's communist left-wing people that are causing all the problem is a little bit naive

Shouldn’t you be out spray painting “BLM” on your local Starbucks with the other 17 year old girls? Maybe talk about your first periods and how “fricking racist” Orange Man is.
I think the quota of white rioters who have been mindlessly destroying cities has been met

I agree with this part.
First Step Act was minimal but it was still super inspiring and positive. I hope we can see more of it.
This was the perfect situation to have all the folks pissed off at their local, state, federal gov over covid and closures to come together with blacks who are against all of the polic state gov control.
It's been absolutely hijacked by Antifa and bad apples of BLM.
This was literally the perfect situation to have a united front against a over powering and abusive federal gov.

every time an incident like this happens, the culprits are always arrested, prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and then sentenced in accordance with the law, and that's the way it is and should be.
Don't know what country you're living in but it's very rare when police officers are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law in America.

Hence, there is no need for nationwide protests. As the wheels of justice will take care of the matter automatically.
Have you heard of Eric Garner? The officer that choked him to death never was prosecuted, and is walking around a free man. Also, just 2 months ago, a young black female EMT worker, Breona Taylor was murdered by police officers who KICKED in her door, NOT identifying themselves because it was a "NO KNOCK" warrant, shot her 8 times. While the officers burst the door down, her boyfriend grabbed his gun and began firing because he thought it was burgulars.
Now get this, when the dust settled, the police department ADMITTED it was the WRONG residence and the residence they were supposed to raid was 10 miles down the road. Even more fricking amazing is they arrested the boyfriend for attempted murder of police officers. NO officers has arrested or prosecuted to this date. So you tell me where is the wheel of justice you speak of.
quote:
Indeed, every time it happens in this country ad nauseam, it never fails, innocent and not so innocent people end up dead or severely injured and I'm tired of it. Not to mention all of the damn property damage
This is something we both agree on.

The police were wrong but so was the perp. When in doubt shut up and sit down. His resistance exaserbated undo force. I do not condone the police behavior. nor do I condone the rioting. Peaceful protest yes but not riot and looting.

Can you explain to me what resistance caused the officer to use force? Was it when Mr. Floyd was handcuffed laying on the ground with the officer knee against his neck? Or was he RESISTING when he was UNCONSCIOUS for 2 minutes and 45 seconds with the officer's knee still on his neck?

With a rogue cop probably on edge already, you comply. Mouthy unsolicited body language could "trigger" this a-hole cop. I didn't see the footage of the perps actions pre brutality. I'm just saying don't fricking resist! He would be alive today.

You’re almost as big a piece of shite as the cop that committed murder. I’m sure you would have been like his 3 buddies that watched him kill the guy.
Watch the videos. He kneeled on his neck for 10 minutes. If you don’t think that’s excessive, then go to hell.

Floyd didn’t do a damn thing wrong to justify what happened to him.
Your post is inexcusable.

To be fair peaceful protest was attempted and everyone decided to ostracize Colin Kaepernick and other athletes that made a point to do it because it was "unpatriotic." I'm not condoning the rioting and looting but when you make people, and not just black people, I feel powerless against the police and the wealthy oligarchs that run our society then you get Rebellion. There have been so many opportunities to listen so many people keep picking the wrong side of the argument

This is your mind on drugs. What the fuq does this scenario have to do with black youth beating a white woman with a 2x4 for protecting her store?

We are all part of society thus laws. When laws are broken the society peace keepers are brought in. Be on the side of law and order. Not riot and mayhem.

So Mr. Floyd was supposed to KNOW that it was a rogue cop he was dealing with. Better yet, isn't the ROLE of the officer when they first arrive on a scene is to DE-ESCALATE? THEY are supposed to be the TRAINED person.
If you didn't see the footage of the PRE-BRUTALITY I suggest you take a look at it. There are various footages of the whole incident. Then come back and render your version of said incident.
