Hmmmm....when Charlie Mac was here, we used to beat them like 77-0. And he lived in my neighborhood, making like $140,000 a year. At least we only finished 1 spot behind Buffalo, and they are an NFL team!

Of the teams you've listed, here are the teams that we would defeat head to head with absolutely no problem right now in my opinion.

11 TCU
12 Cincinnati
13 Okla St
16 BYU
17 Oregon
18 Michigan St
20 Pitt
21 Missouri
22 Ball State
23 Nwestern
26 Florida State
27 Oregon St
28 No Carolina
30 Nebraska
31 California
32 E Carolina
33 Clemson NR
34 Kansas
35 Tulsa
36 West Va
37 Rice
38 Rutgers
39 Buffalo
40 West Mich

Surely they will drop the tickets prices now. You shouldn't have to pay as much to watch the 40th ranked team vs. the defending National Champions!!

SPEEDY, I thought about doing the same signature picture with "bringing the magic back"

You should also add "and taking the magic away" to your pic.

Just remember - when Curly was coach we would have been thrilled to have finished 40th.

I wasn't aware we paid Curley almost 4 million dollars a year. We could have paid a mid major coach a quarter as much and he could have produced the same miserable season with this talent.

where will we be ranked if we beat #14 Ga Tech? Top 15? That was UF's argument to jump who you beat, right?

Both the coordinators that left LSU fished higher than LSU.
I suppose that indicates who was holding us back.

It was earned by a truck load of frick-ups. Frankly, I am sort of surprised it was that high. Then again, when you consider the number of 1-A schools, that is probably about right. Nothing to be proud of, that's for goddamned sure.
