You better start liking it, in 2014 it will probably be one of the access Bowls.

I agree fans should raise a stink regarding chick fila bowl. LSU vote by not showing up to game. Word on the street is that Alleva signed the paperwork for chick fila on Friday. He did very little to oppose and push for cotton.

This!!

The Cotton Bowl is a historic and impressive Bowl and we should lobby for the Cotton. The Chick-fil-a may be the cards we are dealt. Let's just learn to love it because this where we are with Les Miles for the next 7 years.

Would you rather be where Tennessee and auburn is over the next several years? What a dumbass, can't believe how some of y'all can botch about someone who wins 80% of their games and consistently in the championship picture late into the season.

This is total BS...look what the SEC does to us scheduling wise...our east opponents finished like 14-3 where Bama's finished 2-15...now they push us out the BIG BOWL GAME....Screw Mike Slive

Alleva is going to regret this big time. LSU will lose revenue on ticket sales and it will look terrible on tv when the GA Dome is half empty. Clemson fans will show, but supposedly we only pre-sold around 8,000 tickets to the Chicken Sandwich Bowl, while we requested over 20,000 for the Cotton Bowl. I feel bad for the team, but the reality is that our fans just aren't happy about the possibility of going to ATL and they will not travel, especially if it's true that Slive screwed us over to get UGA into the Cotton Bowl.

If true, it would help explain why, when LSU already permanent'ed with Fla(Bama vs Tenn), that the mighty Tide get Ky next year, while LSU gets a rather quick return to Athens vs UGA..

Somebody(plural?), appear pushovers out at LSU's Ath Dept building..

Mizzouri in the SEC East..how very f@cking "Legends and Leaders-esque" of the SEC Hierarchy!

This is perfect because I'm still boycotting Chick-fil-A for its stance on gay marriage.

Pure ignorance.

I swear we are a fan base with so many entitlement issues.

Im sure those kids on our team love for their fans to voice these ignorant opinions.

Stop bitching, people. Clemson is a school that calls its team "Tigers", argues that it is as good or better than most of the SEC, has a band that regularly plays "Hold That Tiger, and claims its home field is the original Death Valley. We should be happy for an opportunity to administer a major beat-down to these sissies.

Buy the tickets. Either give them away or don't go. Whoever goes, spend as little money as possible. Stay somewhere outside Atlanta.

What the heck kind of logic is that? It's not Atlanta's fault LSU got stuck with their bowl.

From watching the ticket exchange and fielding phone calls that are 98% friends wanting to sell, it looks like a fair number are doing what the OP suggested. In spite of Joe and a few posters scolding fans for staying away.
