I'd rather play Texas than Clemson regardless of how good their teams are.

If these rumors about the SEC trying to get the Cotton to take Georgia over us are true, then Alleva needs to grow a pair and tell Slive or whoever to STFU and if Slive says one more word to the Cotton to influence their decision we will pass on the Chicken.

Letting the SEC office push us out of a bowl so another team can go is complete bullshite if true. That is the type of antics that belong in the Big 12 with Texas.

Did anyone consider that maybe Slive is stumping for Georgia to go to the Cotton Bowl because they deserve it more than LSU? We're playing in Jerry World to open the season, not sure what the big deal is. Georgia earned the Cotton Bowl tonight.

bullshite....Georgia played a weak arse schedule, was blown out by a team we beat, and we played bama just as good, if not better. We would have torched their arse, giving up the amount of rushing yards they did was embarassing.

Boycott because we couldn't get it done in 2 games this year so we're relegated to a shitty bowl?

That's what you meant right?

Texas is a 4 loss team, why would you want to play them?

Clemson is not. I'll take clemson please.

But my dad went to texas so that could be fun.

Giving up that many rushing yards is embarrassing, I agree.

No, boycott because the Cotton Bowl wants to pick LSU, but Mike Slive is trying to protect Georgia. How many losses does Georgia have? South Carolina? Texas A&M?

Why is Mike Slive not trying to protect LSU? We beat both South Carolina and A&M, have the same record, yet tey go to better bowls? Georgia is getting credit for almost beating Bama, yet we held the lead on them with less than a minute to play. Mike Slive is wrong here.

I'm going to either game because I care more about LSU than SEC politics. It's just a fricked up situation based on how the cards fell. 6 SEC teams deserve to be in BCS bowls. The Orange bowl is an absolute joke

I'd support our team in any bowl, but Slive is getting too much like Goodell - the power train. Between scheduling bias, referee bias, and if so, bowl game bias, this is getting ridiculous.

Ga beat Fla but Fla goes to Sugar? UGAs second loss came in championship game, which Fla wasn't eligible for? Ga. should be mad, too.

I personally would drop conference championships as long as there's a 1-2 national champion - just makes it crazy. Play more conf teams in the season and dump the 4 OOC games.

Look at it this way. Playing in Dallas means more recruiting opportunities in that area.

Having said that, LSU and CLM lost two games this year. If they would have won just one of those, this whole conversation would be different. So they will get what they have earned.

It's simple, the bigger bowls separate teams with the same record by who is exciting to watch and LSU is not. That's why we drop the Atlanta. We win ugly poor offense and consertive. The best LSU game to watch is to put us against a shitty team we play down to them win in the finally minutes

LSU fans should learn to spell "Chick-fil-A" correctly. Fixed it for you. Also, I would rather play Clemson in Atlanta. We were in the Cotton Bowl two seasons ago. I'd like a change of venue.

They r changing it to "Kick-A-Gay" to reflect their mission statement.

Actually, LSU is not terribly exciting to watch and is stuck in the pack with 3 other 2 loss teams. Go or don't go, nobody will give a rats arse.
