Not to get too deep here, but I thinks what we are seeing is LSU fans still feeling the trauma that Joe Alleva inflicted with all the PR gaffes over the last decade. Woodward doesn’t operate that way. You aren’t going to hear anything about the next HC until his contract is signed and he is being announced. That’s why I’m confidant it’s not Bianco. I understand why people feel this way after the clown show we saw with Les miles being fired then not fired then fired then Herman hired on live tv during a dam game then Orgeron announced the next day. Basically Woodward is the opposite of that.

I actually agree with this. People here are panicking because we’re so out the loop, but I much prefer this. We shouldn’t know until the coach is announced.

if you’re talking about from the university, no shite. They don’t say anything until the coach has signed. If you’re talking about leaks, there’s been plenty of those to reputable sources.

Rumors of Mulkey surfaced before she was hired. I forgot exactly how long before, but it was a significant amount of time.

I agree Joe was a walking pr nightmare. However LSU as a unit LSU has been a tremendous embarrassment for PR over and over pre Joe and under scotty as well.
Let us not forget that Scotty has failed on multiple PR fronts until the Mulkey hire. He couldn't even side step a simple question.

It broke from Ron Higgins two days before saying there would be a presser on that Monday. It also broke the day LSU officially announced Fargas moving on.
Woody is known for having a coach in place before officially announcing the departure of another which in my opinion is good practice

And they've almost all been wrong.
That means it is 1 of 2 things:
- Woodward is intentionally leaking false information for strategic reasons
or
- Woodward won't tip his hand so people are throwing shite at the wall hoping something sticks and they get internet points
