I KNOW you've been reading this board lately because you've been a part of the bashing. But just by reading this board, even rational LSU fans call their own fan base bad. Reword that comment to "please refrain from trying to make the fanbase/state look worse."
Hey Prominentwon -
There will be 120,000 people on campus Saturday.
If just 1% of them are "bad", that's 1,200 people.
This very small minority has no bearing on the other 119,000 or so that will be tailgating, eating, partying, cheering, talking with fellow Tigers and Bama fans, walking around campus, etc.
THESE are the ones that should be paid attention to,
NOT the the rude, vulgar idiots with the big mouths. They should just be ignored.
This is a large state school with 30,000 students, a 93,000 seat stadium, and a huge campus which will take on a festival-like atmosphere with at least 120,000 people.
He did not mean the WHOLE FAN BASE. That would literally be millions of people around the globe. LSU is in the top ten percent in number of college alumni. But it also attracts fans who never went to LSU, just like any large state school.
Lastly, it's a football game, not the opera.
If you're on campus and have this kind of attitude, all I can say is I hope you get what you deserve.
You really are comical criticizing our state, considering the one you're from.
