Ha, does he live in Alabama?

I taught my son to respond with the "You can't see me" gesture when they call him corndog or whatever.

Belle, I know how you feel. I moved to Daphne 8 years ago from NO. There are mostly Bama fan with about 30% being the Barn. I am a pretty outspoken LSU fan (flag in yard, 07' champions door mat, ect..) but most Bama fans are OK. You can def tell the real redneck A-hole fans when they cum up to you at a gas station, home depot, grocery store ect... and say" Ellle-ES-UU suuks, we goin' to whoop tha arse this yeer"!!

Pathetic!!

There are a fair amount of LSU fans in Mobile.

But it does suck living in Gumpland. God help me if Bama wins this year.

And +1 on Auburn fans being much more tolerable. I think the difference is the majority of Auburn fans have at least seen the campus of the school they root for.

Belle,

By the way, there is usually a decent LSU crowd at Wings in Daphne during the game.

My father-in-law told my pregnant wife he bought an Alabama baby jersey for our son. I told him, you can mail it but don't be surprise it if it's returned or lost.

So funny...My son came home from the hospital in an LSU outfit. I told my husband that 12 hours of labor EARNED me the right to pick his outfit. Then I sent out birth announcements to all the Bammer family. Then, I started getting tons of Bammer Baby gifts that sort of mysteriously disappeared until they were too small for him to wear. Now he is 3 and when I ask him what a Tiger says, he says " GO TIGERS GO!" When I ask him what Roll Tide says, he spits and says "puttt" It really chaps the in-laws.

You've got to be kidding me. Fans from around the SEC say y'all are by far the WORST and for good reason. You say this because you are inferior to BAMA son and jealous!

I got all of you guys beat as far as the center of "hell"!! I live in Tuscaloosa.

Statements directed at me when I wear LSU clothing/hats:

1. You need to take that off
2. Those colors are ugly
3. Are you lost?
4. Your coach is an idiot/boob...you will go back to being the "old" LSU in a few years
5. We hired your coach
6. Roll Tide (This seems to be the most common thing they say at all times and under all situations, I guess it is supposed to scare me or intimidate)
7. Enjoy it while you can....wait to we get Saban's players in here...etc, etc.

You are right though, I dont have any probs with Auburn fans....I guess we share the same struggles with the dumbass Bammers.

When my kids were little my bammer friends always gave my kids Bama stuff because they thought it would bother me. I always accepted it, dressed them in it and then sent them out to play in the mud or paint wearing it.

Judging from the plates/stickers I see here every day there are quite a few. But the bunch in P'cola is a great group. email lsupanhandle@hotmail.com they'll have a watch party every game...at bowling alley bar that's decorated properly despite protests from area Gators/Noles....also big into Mardi Gras with float as well. Good mix of alums ...also host one of the top Tiger Tour events with Miles in spring..

SO True, none of my bama in-laws went to THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA. Those Auburn in-laws GRADUATED from Auburn. at least they graduated and went there. 80 percent of that state is crimison tide fans, so i feel sorry for you tigahs in alajamambamama.

Me too. awesome..Well, my bama in-laws bought their future grandson an LSU baby chair..It hurt them because they told my father about it on the phone and he said, "AWEE, Thats frickin great." to my bama in-laws. Too bad LSU lost this bad this weekend but my bama in-laws were in town this weekend to prepare the room in LSU stuff. That's priceless.
