The hs recruiting could have worked but will take too long from where we started.
It will be impossible because McHallman inevitably has at least one player mysteriously leave the program each year. He has stacked top 25 recruiting classes and we have gotten bottom 25 results. We are throwing money at a lost cause.

With NIL and the portal, it has become commonplace to replace most of your roster every year. You get 13 basketball scholarships. We will lose five players for certain and perhaps another two or three to the portal. So you will be replacing half your team at the least and most will be players who started or saw a lot of playing time. This is the way it will be from now on until they change the rules. How much NIL money would you need to get five good players to come to LSU? And if McMahon still does not have a winning record in the SEC and take us to the tournament, does he then get fired?

I do like Mulkey and the women's team but I would remind that the program lost 8.5 million dollars and she has more assistant coaches and staff than an Army regiment. She is probably worth it in entertainment value which is more than you can say for McMahon.

Does lsu have enough NIL for football or baseball without MBB?

Imagine contributing to this NIL fund with McMahon coaching and zero institutional investment
