jeezus dude, its year one... they dont have talent stock piled, they have the #1 recuriting class in the country... youre a moron. That dude is going to build TAMU up into a power and youre stupid if you dont see it... Im not a Jimbo homer at all and really wasnt keen on him in Baton Rouge, I personally wanted Aranda as HC or Even Brohm at Purdue. But He came in and the West was loaded... Miss St and Auburn are good football teams. I knew they would have trouble vs Miss St with that DL... the Auburn game will be no different... but they are tough to play at home and they were playing with confidence in the beginning of the year... Those players believe in their coach... they play for him... They are going to get better and if Im the AD id be happy i hired him...

long ball, son.

….he's quietly building an arsenal of talent and sits in the top 3 in recruiting.

His first year and repairing/replacing a Sumlin system.

Be smarter

How so?

Like there have never been Heisman winning QBs in the SEC? Also who did they beat in the BCSSCG again? Oh YeahbIt was an SEC team

Any team can win 1 game. I'm saying he was and is a terrible qb and would've been exposed playing this schedule.

It absolutely blows my mind that top notch talent has been, and will continue to sign up to play for shitty arse A&M All that fig-swag, yet no substance

Has to do with a community that supports it's alumni. LSU alumni will sell one another down the river for a nickel.....

While I love LSU, our goal is to see our kids go to aTm, not LSU. I trust the aTm community to support them from education to career.

Is what it is.

Like the arsenal he built at FSU but was 10-10 in his last 20 ACC games? FSU should never be .500 in any stretch in that conference.

According to what service?

They have 24 commits. They won't move up much if any and will probably drop as the teams below them fill their classes.

Hell FSU only has 16 commits and a higher average player rating. If that continues and they sign as many players they will finish ahead of A&M and FSU it only ranked 10th right now.

Just like at FSU with 3 top 6 classes in a row when he went 5-6 (3-5)? He needed good players to be successful in the ACC against the Wake Forests of the world. He better cheat his arse off to match that success in the SEC. According to the NCAA investigation he is going full force already.

That heisman qb would've looked a lot different in the sec my friend

Well that's an assumption. Doesn't really have any place in this conversation.

We're not talking about guesswork, we're talking about what actually happened.

The only other explanation to someone that thinks Winston was “terrible” and would have been bad in the SEC is a lot worse

You're right. Let's talk about what actually happened. Without a heisman qb, Jimbo saw Florida State go right down the shitter, left them with an empty cupboard, and jumped ship to coach a team that will never be better than middle of the pack, for 75mil guaranteed.

Meanwhile, O will go undefeated vs him in their current positions.

we were only leverage for Jimbo and Herman ...
nothing else...they learned from Les when he leveraged Michigan.

I interact with a lot of Aggies. If they go 8-4 this year, they feel like they did all expected.

Recruiting class is ranked #1 or #2... so, yes... give him 3 years coaching and recruiting, THEN form your opinion of the hire.

Nobody expected an overnight "competing for championships" instant turnaround in Aggieland.

He won the ACC before Jameis. He won the Orange Bowl after Jameis. They were preseason #3 entering last season.

Taggart said on Saturday that he's seen players quit during games. The problems at FSU must be deeper than just the head coach or lack of talent. Jimbo wanted out for a reason.

The ACC was pathetic at the time, known fact.

Yes and it was a damn good game. It was Michigan, but good win.

we know how accurate those preseason polls are.
