Wow I hate to say it but some of you are so wrong. If you don't think a slopfest hurts a speed team u know nothing. And to say Bama vs Texas is a route with or without their qb is foolish. Their backup started making strides but only after it was to late.

we beat Bama fair and square. ESPN can't use special teams as the excuse why bama should have one the game.

Bama had a better game on offense then LSU (barley)
Bama had a better game on defense then LSU (barley but we made the bigger plays when it counted)
but we dominated them in special teams.

if you take the first two parts of football offense and defense bama won the game, but if you add in special teams you see the result you had.

its kinda like this your running a marathon and you and this other guy are neck and neck for 1st all the time the one guy (bama) is a few paces ahead the other guy (lsu) but then on the last leg of the race, the last sprint to the finish the (lsu) guy beats him. But then the guy who just lost said I'm better I was betting him most the race. Well guess what you didn't beat him when it counted at the end.

or your a sales men. You have the people convinced you should buy this thing, and you've got them to the point where once you show them the price they are going to buy this car. But then you don't deliver on your price its much higher then before. You were good up to that point but you sucked when it came to completing the sale.

lets say you in one week had 5 of those type of things and you where able to come through and sell two cars.

but the other sales men only had 3 of those things but was able to deliver on all three.

who is the better sales men

ESPN is looking at the performance right before the part of the game that really matters (scoring points) and saying because bama played better then LSU is all parts of the game (except special teams) but just couldn't turn up any points then bama will beat lsu.

btw bama barley had a better game on offense and defense. ACtually you could argue LSU had a better game on defense, because of the amazing picks we had in key parts of the game.

ESPN needs to learn that football is a three part game not two part.

Mike needs to stick to his TV show on Fox , it makes me feel better knowing he hates LSU. Out played LSU on offense bama did .
LSU left scores on the field also, the outcome of this game will rest on the legs so to speak of JJ .He will get all the wrath and anger that our Ex Coach has built up inside of his twisted mind .I used the term "Twisted Mind " because our Ex Coach beleives he is really a great coach. I know he is a smart man and a average coach .But he will have his team thinking , Make JJ think, that is JJ's weakness.
We will have to score TD's this time . Maybe a lot of them. We were lucky against Georgia , they dropped a few passes that would have hurt us . It would have been hard to come back 21 or 28 points down .
