Also for those interested, here's the football outsiders S&P+ offensive and defensive efficiency rankings by year which to me are way more relevant than these raw stats which can be affected by a lot of different factors. I'll even go back to 2005 (start of Les tenure).

S&P+ Defense Efficiency
Year - Def. S&P+ - D coordinator
2005 - 8th - Pelini
2006 - 2nd - Pelini
2007 - 7th - Pelini
2008 - 20th - The Malveto
2009 - 8th - Chavis
2010 - 9th - Chavis
2011 - 2nd - Chavis
2012 - 4th - Chavis
2013 - 16th - Chavis
2014 - 5th - Chavis
2015 - 34th - tSteele Curtain
2016 - 2nd - Aranda
2017 - 8th - Aranda
2018 - 5th - Aranda

I remember when everyone flipped out about The Malveto D of 2008, that combined with pick 6 Lee was such a rough year to be an LSU fan....and then we got Kevin Steele's D in 2015 which was plain awful by LSU standards.

S&P+ Offense Efficiency
Year - Def. S&P+ - O coordinator
2005 - 35th - Fisher
2006 - 4th - Fisher
2007 - 7th - Crowton
2008 - 18th - Crowton
2009 - 41st - Crowton
2010 - 34th - Crowton
2011 - 18th - Studly
2012 - 32nd - Studly
2013 - 7th - Cam Cam
2014 - 34th - Cam Cam
2015 - 12th - Cam Cam
2016 - 41st - Cam Cam 1st 4 games, Ensminger remaining 8
2017 - 23rd - Canada
2018 - 30th - Ensminger

2006, 2007 and 2013 were truly the heydays for the offense.

Are you trying to point out that the defense has regressed every year under O?
