What we lack is a true free safety and most of all leadership. Devin white was the leader and always made sure the guys were in the correct positions. Yes Delpit is hurt but his greatest asset was his ability to roam and play up on the line. We miss divinity off the edge which helped the secondary as well. Jacob Phillips has shown regression which does not help either. You can't truly blame the secondary when there is little to no pass rush. Stevens has been forced to play more of a traditional safety role not allowing him to come off the edge as well. We should be using brooks more off the edge than we have been. But most importantly like the previous poster indicated, we R 10-0 and beat bama in t-town and that makes me happy as a clam

I don't understand how you armchair footballers justify your evaluation of the real footballers. How has Jacob Phillips regressed. He's making more tackles, he's only missed 2 tackles in 2019. He missed double digit tackles in 2018. No targeting ejections.
