LSU basketball still in the AP Poll at 25

They know LSU was the better team on Saturday

That’s basketball. Tigers looked pretty good but made a couple crucial errors, coaches and players, and that was the Auburn game. At Vandy we saw a 40 point career night from a dude that averages 11. Freakish and they deserved that win. We still got issues holding a big lead but did anyone really think Auburn wasn’t gonna have a streak? If you answered no you’re lying.
Tigers will bounce back big tomorrow and then hang on to beat Bama. 10-1 SEC will look pretty good next Monday. Geaux Tigers!

I don’t know how you can say we are better than Auburn after we just lost to them. They beat us and have the same conference so right now they are the better team. I agree that we can play with anyone though.

And to the other guy pointing out the 40 point night for the guy from Vandy. We pretty regularly give guys career nights due to our terrible perimeter defense. There is nothing freakish about it. Its just what we do.

With that being said, we still are in great shape to win the SEC. We all know that this fan base only gets excited when we’re ranked so still being in the top 25 is huge

At this point LSU is what it is. They are a team capable of beating anyone in the country. They are also a team who's defensive woes allow even weak teams the chance to play with or even beat LSU. No lead is safe.

Hopefully they can flush last week and move on starting tomorrow night. They've blown their margin of error in SEC play, but are still very much in contention to win the league. I'm also hopeful they can get Matthew's back ASAP. Wade said last week they were targeting tomorrow night for his return. That seemed a little ambitious, but hopefully he's ready. The optimist in me thinks having BOTH he and Taylor available for really the first time all year will provide just enough extra to create some separation in many of these close games.
