I'd consider .500 in the sec a major step in the right direction.

Even if you are not excited, at the very least people should be interested to see how this season plays out. It's basically all out on the table that it's win or get cut, so seeing if/how that effects Trent's decision making process should be intriguing.
I always hope LSU wins in basketball, but even if you aren't a "fan" you will still want to tune in to the drama that will unfold.

but I have no faith in the current coach to actually build something here, I grew up with LSU BBall in the late 70's thru the mid 80's and Im just not seeing it from the guy

There is a sense of apathy with the program. People just accept the fact that they suck. When it hasn't been that long ago we were a final four team.

I dont really care about basketball and as far as I know, I havent seen ay baseball threads last few weeks.
Apparently you are too fricking stupid and simple minded to know that football season is here and for the most part LSU fans, myself included are geared towards the optimisim of a good football season ... not a depleted basketball program.
It's obvious you're the one that has the agenda, let it go pal.
I dont really care about basketball and as far as I know, I havent seen ay baseball threads last few weeks.
