Why do we not have a legitimate hitting Coach
We have plenty of ex player volunteers
Just wondering
And next yr we loose
Watson
Bain
Beau Jordon
Nick Cooms
and Im prob missing some
Hoping Josh Smith gets a red shirt and waits till next yr to come back. He is still in obvious pain

Only Leon Landry is a graduate assistant. The rest are paid coaches.

How many of those do you think we have?

So answer me this (and any other trolls on here arguing the same thing about hitting coach). Were you unhappy with the offense last year as a whole? And I’m meaning the whole season. Don’t just take a 2 game stretch in the championship where they went cold against the best pitching staff in the country. Because that offense was one of the tops in the conference and good enough to get a top 8 National seed, knock off the best overall team in the CWS and make it to a championship series. And it was coached by an “ex player volunteer” as you put it. And he would be hitting coach again this year if not for a freak injury a month before season started. Who would you have had Mainieri go out and hire ONE MONTH before the season started? Do you realistically expect he would have found someone of any guaranteed higher caliber?

Yes, he is.

He is not paid by LSU but he is paid by TAF just like Micah Gibbs was paid by TAF last season.

That is in reference to Andy Canizzaro
He will have all off season to find somebody
Last yr they did shock me getting to the
Chamionship game.
This year injuries have hurt us, but the team as a whole is much worse than last year. IMO

No, he isn't. According to the NCAA rules, there are two paid assistants. Those are Dunn and Cain.

That Ochinko may draw a salary from TAF does not mean he is a paid assistant. It's not just some description of his employment, it's a specific NCAA term. He is not a paid assistant.
