I know it is strange to talk about Baseball with the big Alabama victory but I will anyway. ScubaTiger has posted his final fall Baseball stats and I wanted to take a poll on who will be our top 10 pitchers and top 10 hitters next year.

I'm going with:
1. Beloso
2.Cabrera
3. Bianco
4. Garza
5. Travinski
6. Mathis
7. Willis
8. Dugas
9. Cade Doughty
10. Toups

1. Henry
2. Marceaux
3. Hill
4. Storz
5. Labas
6. Fontenot
7. Hilliard
8. Walker
9. Hasty
10. Vietmier

I would like to see what you guys think.

Before I vote, do you know if Joe Brady will be working with any of the hitters?

I think you are over looking some players. especially if you went off his Stats. Biggs? Milazzo? Cranford?? we didnt even see Arnold and what he can do. No clue on Garza. hoping he comes back where he left off. Cabrera has me nervous. Hampton? No clue where he will fall??? Many conclusions can be drawn.

Scuba Stats got buried pretty quick with all the football threads. Search "final fall baseball" or ScubaTiger threads.

I'm not overlooking those players, just posting a top 10. I would think Hampton would have a chance to crack the top 10 but he will have a lot of catching up to do. Biggs can hit but not sure how many chances he will get. I actually like Milazzo more than Garza but if Garza hits like he did the second half of last year, you have to play him. Being objective, Cranford played better than Cade Doughty at 2b, but Cade has more potential and that might give him the starting role.
I'm with you on Cabrera. He didn't live up to his potential last year. The guy can be very dangerous behind the plate and we need him to be this year. Lets hope Coach Eddie Smith gets him on a roll.

The last time you gave us your rankings, you forgot that there are 7 teams in the West.

You should probably refrain from posting about baseball. Or posting in general.

I agree! I would love to see Dugas back in the infield at least to start. I do like the glove on the Cranford kid. I sure do hope doughty plays up to expectations...did not see it in fall. Really like Milazzo behind plate but agree with Garza if he comes back where he left off. Can not wait to see what Hampton can do. It will def be interesting.
