Obviously way too early but how much better do you think pitching will be next season compared to this season?

I mean if someone could maybe even guess. Like the new pitchers coming in or the transfers. I’m just curious.

I’m guessing Coleman, Tebrake, Floyd starters? Maybe Little and Hurd if we get him.

If/When Thatcher Hurd comes that would make the staff even better.

If we get 2 of Hurd, Kiesel and Skenes.... much better.
If we get 1, better but not fantastic.

I don't think it's that likely Tebrake goes to the draft but i think it's a possibility

It takes time to come back from that surgery. Remember they waited a little to get it done. I wouldn’t count on Coleman next year IMO

Damn I thought he’d have enough time to recover. That really sucks

Because I have a general knowledge regarding recovery time for UCL surgery and basic math skills.

Coleman may be a bullpen piece late in the season but no way he will be a starter next year.

Pitching was better than expected this year and a good bit of that credit goes to the management of the staff. Next year the staff should be noticeably improved due to experience, newcomers and an upgrade in pitching coach. (No slight to Kelly)
Money will have time to work on building confidence again and develop another pitch.
Floyd will develop another pitch and heaven help people if it’s a strong “out” pitch.
Dutton and Grant should improve and then you have the benefit of the transfers and recruiting class.
Then there is the current closers, they should improve as well. All of the above should be hungry to improve and I’m betting they will.
I’m looking forward to the pitching competition next year.
