Just bring back the Wally Pontiff Classic—end of discussion.

My son pitched a game for USM against LSU in one of those games in the early 90s. USM lost, but the games were much fun.

The Sanford scrimmage was a good crowd. Definitely be a sellout against the eagles or even south Alabama

All day baseball and skipping school can’t beat it.

Remove ULL and replace with South Alabama or Southeastern

Considering the foundation was not interested in continuing it, I'd say the discussion is definitely ended, just not in the way you think.

I was being a little snarky.
The foundation was floundering, due to both COVID and the death of the director. I think it was more of a lack of ability as much as a lack of desire to keep it going, though I guess it was a lack of anyone with a desire to put forth the effort to generate enough funds to keep it going.
But I was thinking about the format as much as the foundation and maybe expanding it to a tournament. Louisiana teams. It could be anywhere in the state but if LSU puts in on I would want it at the Box.
