Through 18 @SEC games, @LSUbaseball tied its 2nd-best league record this century.
2013 – 15-3
2023 – 13-5

And look at the teams we faced during that time frame!
This board is full of idiots. LSU dominated the game until the very last out, actually last strike, of the game.
Baseball is a game of constant failures throughout the game. We are making far fewer than other teams and that’s why we keep winning.

Multiple stupid arse threads posted by you. Your posts read like a guy that was born in Louisiana so you think you should say you’re an LSU fan but you scored an 11 on the ACT so you weren’t accepted.

He was left in too long.
No he wasn’t. He was taken out at just the right time. The point of pitching decisions isn’t to maximize the stats of the pitchers. It’s to win games, and not just the game that is being played; they have to manage the staff to have the arms available to win the rest of the weekend.
On top of that, the coach wants to stress some pitchers to see how they perform, so that when the games become much more important he knows what each pitcher can give him.

It’s hilarious how people like you expect a collegiate baseball team to have a bullpen full of 2.0 ERA or lower type pitchers.
New flash buddy there isn’t a single team in the country that has a completely stacked bullpen. The majority of SEC bullpens are pretty weak.
Probably 98% of elite pitchers never step foot on a college baseball field. Therefore college coaches are left with a bunch of good to just average pitchers to work with.

That and trackman -
This team in sec averages on most accounts are average to below. They will have a punchers chance nothing more in regional.
Been a fantastic year! But pitching depth and terrible defense will limit.
