What if he gets drafted much much lower than he thinks and gets offered almost nothing, going to pass up a senior year, degree, full time starter position? Probably not.

Why would you think he'd be a full time starter?

Money has absolutely nothing to do with his decision to leave.

Unless Mainieri hates him that much he's more than proven to be the man for the 1B position next season, especially if he sticks around.

Not by anyone with a clue. He was coming off a decent, nothing special season at the plate and we signed Kade Scivique so clearly Mainieri had a different idea for the catcher spot.

Proven to everyone but Coach.
Moore is gone.

Anytime he has shined, he has been benched when facing lefties, unless nola was pitching.
That huge week long hot streak, it resulted in him not starting the sec tourney.
How about getting that winning tourney hit vs bama last year? Resulted in not starting the next day.
You dont think he had a good season last year?
Hitting well as a freshmen and hitting a game tying homer in the supers last year wasnt enough to be considered for a starting role in 13? How about being the best defensive 1st baseman?

You clearly didn't understand what I said. Last season he had a DECENT time at the plate, but nothing special. He hit .281, but with 0 HR and .396 slugging pct.
This year he proved to be a very good 1st baseman AND hit .301 with 6 HR while slugging .484.
He showed much much more this season than last and you cannot deny that.

But can you really see Mainieri pulling the same shite again next year? I think by the SEC tournament Mainieri knew that he as an everyday starter.

And what happens if we get the 1B from high school?

Mainieri had no problem screwing Fraley cause he's a freshman. And what are the chances we get a freshman 1B better on a consistent basis than Moore?

What are y'all basing this off of?

He started more than twice as many games this year than last year...and we played less games this year.

Not the coaches committee meetings

Even though your point has nothing to do with mine.
