We’re currently tied for 66th with only 3 forced fumbles and 9 INTs for the year.

Need to make something happen Saturday

Been one of the things that Aranda’s defenses have not excelled at. We got better at it last year because we emphasized not dropping the interceptions. We have dropped a metric shite ton of int this year.

Put the DBs through the same drills we did with the WRs

Yeah as much as I like Aranda I've noticed we really don't force many turnovers under him. We've yet to even come close to having a defensive score this year and I think it would be glorious if we got one Saturday.

When your defense plays too much of this soft zone BS that Aranda loves....this is the result. If this over paid DC plays that shite against Alabama they will bust the clock.

Hard to force ANYTHING rushing three and dropping eight.

You can still be disruptive and force bad plays only rushing 3 or 4. We just don't have the right personnel to do it. That's why he's been bringing in different blitzers like delpit to create that pressure.

Well I'm afraid I've got some bad news. The best way to slow down the Bama slants is running zone defense. Especially with Bamas speed at reciever.

You will likely see alot of zone

Amazing how when you can’t get pressure on the QB you can’t force turnovers.

I totally agree that Aranda’s defenses have never caused many turnovers but damn just imagine if we would have caught all of the EASY interceptions this year much less someone actually making a crazy good play like Stevens did against State... LSU could have gotten off the field earlier on many occasions and have a better stat line if we could just make the easy play. Hopefully that changes if we get the chances Saturday.

Agreed. Hopefully we can disguise some zone blitzes and bait that into a mistake. You can't play a team like that and expect to hold them to single digits. They're going to score in the 20s at worst. You just have to outscore them.
