I promise you tons of fans will decide to skip on the traditional thanksgiving and head to BR

We shouldn't have to do that, it's fricking stupid. I promise you my 4 seats will be empty.

but many of the 92,000 that go to the games will have an issue with it.

They'll get over it.

That would be pretty late in the season to have the likes of ULL or ULM coming into TS.

Look at what Bama has done the last few years the week before AU.

What other college football teams traditional play on Thanksgiving night?

What other games are playing at 1:30 on Friday?

There are a bunch of empty seats for the Friday games unless a trip to Atlanta is on the line or we're undefeated. The same will apply here. If we have something on the line the place will be packed, if not then it won't be.

I would rather Saturday, but Thanksgiving night is better than Friday.

Turkey sucks, stuffing sucks, cranberry sauce really sucks.

I do like sweet potatoes, spinach Madeline and green been casserole though.

Without checking there are at least 10 games on Friday, maybe as many as 20.

But I can tell you for sure there is only 1 on Thanksgiving.

Actually, there are 0 games on the Friday after Thanksgiving this year. Well, I guess you should add our game in there - no clue why ESPN does not have it listed.

Correct.

We can obviously tell who the season ticket holders are and who the one's who just stay home and watch the games are. If I didn't have season tickets and went to every game, I would love this. But for the season ticket holders, this is just fricking dumb, IMO.

Actually there are 12. You're looking at the wrong week. And they don't have LSU-Arkansas updated yet.

But no one is listed on Thanksgiving since A&M and Texas aren't playing. Which means going forward we would be the 1 I was referring to.

Guess I better go this season because I definitely will not be traveling to College Station in the future.

"Hey, at least it's a guaranteed night SEC home game every other year"

Yeah except that now the stadium will be half full

I would bet any amount of money that isn't the case.

ETA: Unless we start to suck like the Hallman years, in which case it wouldn't matter anyway.

Why would they want to compete with the NFL anyway? Thanksgiving Day belongs to the NFL!

Screw that! This game would go against the 3rd NFL game that day, by that time I'm ready for something different. The NFL network game usually sucks anyway.
