LSU released Week 1 Game Notes today, but an official depth chart was not included therein.
As a supplement I am adding my own LSU Depth Chart with the updated information from Brian Kelly's press conference.
I am also including the Official FSU Depth Chart.

Havent heard much about Destyn Hill on their side, has to be good if he’s starting at their slot as a freshman

This has to be the largest OL across the board that I can remember. All the way down through 3 deep is huge.

I thought FSU was supposed to be elite at WR. One of their starters is a true freshamn.

Hill is a weird situation IMO. 2021 Recruit who’s been enrolled at FSU for last 2 years, hasn’t played a snap or apparently involved with team. Don’t know how he’s still classified as a tFr.

He hasn’t been enrolled. Had family stuff going on and stayed away dealing with family matters. Stayed in contact with the team. Once it all cleared up he showed up and started practicing and won the starting job.

Nice job, there is an issue with the SAM for LSU, it’s out of place and no backups

Yes, I placed the SAM beneath the NICKEL position because the NICKEL usually comes off the field when the 4th LB comes onto the field. In such a case, Gregg Penn will enter the game as the MIKE, and Omar Speights will bump out to the SAM, where Harold Perkins played last year. Often the SAM will have to slide out to the NICKEL position cover a Slot WR or an off-the-line TE. That's when we hear the position referred to as a "NICKEL-SAM." Anyway, that's my reasoning. That and the fact that LSU would only list 2 LB spots (besides JACK) on their Depth Charts last season, and I am trying to emulate what they produced.

I think that's spot on for lsu for the most part
maybe some backups can be switched around but starters appear to be what Kelly and media have said throughout camp and adjusted up until game week

I think it's because we wouldn't have a Sam and Nickel on the field at the same time. If we had three LBs on the field it'd be Speights, Perkins, and Penn.

The plan was to bring him along slowly, play in 4 games, and RS. He's not starting for lack of depth

I heard FSU had 17 returning starters. Is that accurate?

Another reason I can’t wait for Smith to be healthy is just for the oddity of seeing a starting DL wearing numbers 18, 0, and 35 lol
