SEC dominance is over. The Big 12, PAC 10, and Big Ten have advanced greatly. We can no longer say that LSU being the 3rd-5th best team in the SEC means that LSU is one of the best teams in the country. In reality, it means that LSU is average.

My hope is that Miles will stop comparing himself to Alabama and believing that if he can just beat Alabama then he will be on top. That ship has sailed. The reality is that college football has moved on and there are teams from other conferences that are just as good, if not better.

This offseason will define Miles. He has to change. If he doesn't, and we have another 8-9 win season characterized by poor play on both sides of the ball, he should just step down.

I know. Arkansas beats us more often than we beat Alabama as of late. We're not at Bama's level.

I agree the SEC dominance is over. I think the whole SEC hype has pulled the SEC down, as it was almost impossible for them to live up to the hype and you got to know the other teams want to prove everyone wrong, I.E. this bowl season. I think every few years we will have a great team and then kinda fall off. And I'm fine with that as long as we have a winning record in conference play/8+ wins a season. I love LSU football too much to get pissed off and stop watching or boycott games.
