LSU Alumni Tailgate at Lyric Theater

Is this worth $150 or are y'all going to be at the bars near that area? I don't have a tailgate and I am not interested in the grove.

It's probably a decent deal if it's open bar with food. The cover charge at the Library (for example) will be minimum $100 with nothing included.

Oxford is notorious for outrageous cover charges at bars. Usually $20-50 for a regular night and $100-200 for big gameday weekends.

Has anyone ever been to one of these LSU Alumni tailgates? Is it a good time or more formal/corporate?

Definitely worth it. The team does a great job working the tailgate at the grove

I just called the alumni's number to get more information on this and the prerecorded message sounds like a 90 year old woman struggling to say "Geaux Tigers", kinda turned me off to this idea. Any success stories with this tailgate?

It's not in the grove, it's at lyric theater in the square. I assume its similar to the Varsity in BR
